Who can hire out our mini buses?
Anyone over the age of 25 years old can Hire out our mini buses if they have the appropriate license to drive the vehicle.

​Can Hutchinson bus lines supply a driver?
​Yes. We have a many experienced drivers. Please check out the information on Our Charter page if you require a driver.

​Do I need to pay a deposit after confirming my booking?
​Sometimes a deposit will be required, please reach out to us for more information.

How do I pay for the hire and drive
​An invoice will be sent to you either before or after using our vehicles.

​Do cancellation fees apply?

​Can I pick up a vehicle after hours?
​If arranged prior, yes picking up a vehicle after hours is a possibility

​Is fuel included in the cost?
​Yes, if it is quoted in charter. With a hire drive agreement, fuel will normally be calculated on arrival back to depot unless a prior agreement has been arranged

Who pays for costs during travels such as parking, CityLinks or Parking fines during hire?
​The hirer will be responsible for paying any fines that are incurred. The fines will be passed onto hirer of our vehicle as per hire agreement.

​Who is responsible for cleaning the vehicle?
​The vehicle is expected to be returned in a satisfactory condition. In a situation where the vehicle is not returned in a satisfactory condition, a cleaning fee may be charged to the hirer

​What do I do if vehicle breaks down or has a flat tire during hire?
Try and stop in a safe position and call the emergency number provided on hire agreement form

​Is there an emergency contact number?
​Yes, hirer will be provided with a contact number for emergency and all drivers have emergency contact numbers for charter trips.

​Who is responsible for the bus?
​In the case of a hire drive, the hirer is responsible for the bus as well as safety of the driver and passengers.

​Do any forms need to be signed prior to hire?
​Yes. Prior to hire there are forms that must be signed and returned in order to use our vehicles.

​Can you have multiple drivers?
​Yes. All additional drivers must also supply a copy of the appropriate license

​What happens if I lost or left an item on a bus?
​Please contact us either through our website, email or phone number and we will do our best to locate the lost property and organise a way of returning the item to you.

Do your buses have seatbelts and air conditioning?
Yes all our buses are fitted with seatbelts and have air conditioning and some buses in our fleet are DDA complient (please contact us to ask more)
